semaphore is an expose of communication as a sent message. acting on a signal received commences the journey. responding to the message begins the connection. as we move from an industrial society to an information-based one we reflect on communication tools at our disposal, ensuring we honour the promise of each generation. the method of sending the message has evolved and morphed over time and distance. from historic rail semaphore to the human body it's the same expression sent in different ways. as humans our passion to communicate continues to play out with new ways of being.
