Introduction

I'm Ben, the Multi Media Designer
Hi there. I'm Tim, the Sound Designer

G'day, I'm Ben, the Multimedia Designer. I'm glad you're taking on the tourism web promo. I'll be your main supervisor for the job. You've been given some time for training before you start on the final product, so I'll spend that time getting you familiar with Movie Maker . It's the software I use most for Web products and the program I recommend for this job.

The creative possibilities of this 30-second presentation are endless. I'll show you the Bronze Coast demonstration I prepared for the client Top Travel . The client supplied the digital photos and I incorporated them in a Flash sequence.

Demo

Sure there are some things in Flash that we cant do in Movie Maker, but we can still make a very fine presentation!

As you become immersed in this project you will realise there are many ways to tell a story visually.

Because you're new here at Lightbox , I'm going to get you to start with the images provided by Top Travel - the ones I used for the demonstration. I'll guide you through the process of using these images to create a 30 second presentation with music and text.

As Dave, our Director, will explain, one of the keys of this project is planning. Make sure you developed a storyboard for your presentation before you begin.

When you have successfully mastered the software, you can take your own set of photos, collect your own music and sound effects before you use them in the final tourism promo. Lets talk now to Trina about the job itself.
